We had so much fun together this summer! I made this list at the beginning and it proved to be very helpful. Whenever we had a free day, I turned to the list to see if there was something we could make work. Some of these things we did but I didn't get around to checking off. Some things I'll have to keep in mind for next summer because we didn't get to them!

This was a while ago, but I remember it so well. Fun days at Green Hill park with friends. And I figure when it comes to posting on the blog, better late than never ;)

Our church youth group hosted a sports camp for the kids of the church and community this summer. The boys did hockey (?) and the girls danced. We are thankful for the older girls in our church who loved on our girls and shared the gospel with them this week out of their summer and all through the year!
Vivian and Kate are in the middle of the group. Vivian is wearing orangish capri pants and Kate is wearing a romper. They brought a friend from Kindergarten this year and she enjoyed it!
At the beginning of the summer we spent a week at Girl Scout camp together. I took all the kids each day because I wanted to be a leader with Vivian's group. She was an actual camper and Kate and Hank were in the Small Fry Unit. The days were long but filled with fun stuff that you can't do anywhere else :). I was so proud of Kate and Hank for being good troopers. Hank even took great naps each day in his pack 'n play! The last day, he came down with the stomach bug so we missed it (he was the second-to-last one in our entire family to get the bug. We did lots of awesome things this summer but it will always be known as the SOTSB Summer of the Stomach Bug). But we all got a taste of how fun day camp is and we are hooked! Vivian has her eyes set on the day when she can do the overnight with the real camping.
Best part by far was time in the creek each day!
