I think I can get back into this! Just got a new camera to replace the broken one, and downloaded an app to blog from my phone. Maybe that will help with being able to easily put pictures from my phone on here, since both Aaron and I take lots of phone pictures!

We've had a wonderful holiday season and hope you have too!

I visited a great friend, my bible study leader in college, at the beginning of December. Kristina and I took a train from Lynchburg to DC to spend the weekend with Allison and her family. It was such and encouraging time and I was able to return refreshed and a better mommy :)

shooting day

Aaron really enjoys hosting friends to come over to shoot targets at the back of our property.

A few weeks ago we were so glad for John John to celebrate his birthday at our house in this way.

He got a new gun as his birthday present and so several men came over to shoot with him.

Gretchen made a huge pot of chili and so we ate lunch together before the festivities began :)

This girl is getting so big! She just turned 10...very thankful for her because I know God will use her to be a great example for our girls.

The girls just wanted to play in Sam's truck the whole time...

Beautiful view at that time, near the end of fall. It's so bare now, though.

Cami did awesome on her first try shooting a gun.

Little man finally woke up from a long nap to come join us for the end.

I realize that you probably think we only dress him in these Carhartts because all of the pictures of him on this blog lately have shown him wearing them. It's coincidence, I promise. He does wear them often though, I guess!

We love John John...he is the happiest guy we know and he loves kids. Happy birthday, John.

Hank really likes him...he has even babysat for just Hank recently :)

We are thankful for our pastor and his family. Such a faithful testimony of a godly household.

On Friday afternoon after Thanksgiving, we ate lunch with family in Lucama and then went to visit my Granny's brother, Uncle Arthur.

The boy loves it when people wear hats :)

I love it how kids make themselves at home when visiting new places. They were all over the house, checking things out. Thankfully Uncle Arthur and Mrs. Odell were very gracious about it!
