On Saturday Vivian had a huge thrill...she met Mickey and Minnie Mouse! Wow!
The Bolling twins, Jax and Lilah, had their first birthday party and our girls were some of the honored guests! It was the most spectacular birthday party I have ever been to!
As you can tell, it was a Mickey and Minnie theme. I could tell you a thousand things about the details of the party, but maybe these pictures and their backgrounds will tell a lot about how awesome it was.
Vivian allowed Minnie to hold her for these two pictures, but then decided that she didn't want to have anything to do with them.

In the bouncy ball pit! She had a BLAST in this thing. I was nervous because all of the kids in there were much older and wild. But she held her ground and just enjoyed being bounced around and not having to do any of the work.
She also spent some time feeding her friend Seth some cheese balls.

They are beautiful babies! Kate is in the nursery with them, so we are praying for their friendship as they grow up together. We are thankful for sweet friends for our kids.
Kate had a great time, too, but she might have been a little overstimulated :)She played on the floor most of the time and ate shoes.
We were sent home for a late nap with these awesome goodie bags! There were lots of treats in there, and we had an "all things Mickey Mouse day" on Monday with everything in there. She had never been exposed to Mickey prior to this, but now loves him. Move aside, Elmo! 
First thing on Saturday morning...open Christmas presents. Yes, that's right...Christmas! When we got so much snow in December, our travel plans were canceled and so we never saw our family in NC for Christmas. V didn't mind...she loved the gifts just the same!
They got her these bears and she insisted on having them eat breakfast with her.
Grand Aunty Nancy was there also, and she brought this beautiful rocking chair for V. As soon as we walked in the room where it was, she knew it was for her...she walked toward it immediately, and then stopped to turn around and look at us to make sure it was okay, and gave a huge smile. She sat in it for a long time and said, "rocky, rocky, rocky" over and over. Grandma Carolyn made the cushions for it...very cute!
She makes lots of things. She is the most crafty, creative person I know. This "flower" arrangement is made of pinecones.
V loved these dancing chicks. I think Hallmark was selling them for Easter and Grandma got it for her. It was a big hit. I was taking this picture to try and get a shot of her fat lip.
She got a kick out of Granddaddy's golfballs. Grandma Carolyn told me that she had been thinking about what Vivian would like to play with while visiting, and she got several toys and books out, but I guess the favorite toys and games are never what you'd expect!
I told Aaron about how all the toys were at eye-level for Vivian and so she could get her hands on everything. His reply was that the toy store knows this and they do it that way on purpose. Ha!
Saturday was his birthday. We celebrated with an awesome TCBY cake (I had 3 slices!) and the Happy Birthday song twice. Vivian made him a card with felt butterfly stickers.
