Vivian and Kate both wanted to pick up shells all week and pass them to me. We made quite a pile each day.

Aaron has fished a lot. It didn't go well at the beginning of the week, but towards the end and especiallytoday they have caught a ton.

This is our beach house, Cardinal's Landing. It's the same place we stayed last year and it suits us well! It's directly across the street from a public access walkway to the beach.

Seth and Hank share a birthday! Both born August 8th. Seth just turned 4. Hopefully it will make for a cool friendship in the coming years!

We are heading home tomorrow :( But we've made great memories and are so thankful for the rest and family time. Apart from the aquarium afternoon, the bounce house morning, and each couple having a date night, we've spent the days on the beach and in the beach house. We love a simple vacation!

 We are at the beach this WHOLE week! It has been wonderful to spend so much time together as a family. We are enjoying our time with Jonathan, Joy, Seth, and Joel. We've spent the mornings at the beach, sometimes even getting out there by 7:30 am (all the kids have been waking up early this week). I have been really slack about getting pictures, but here are some of the few I've taken. Hank has been a sweet newborn, just wants me to hold him all the time! So no extra hands for the camera.

 Hank has made an appearance on the beach a few times. I love having summer babies :)

 We went to the aquarium on Tuesday afternoon while it rained. There was a new penguin exhibit.

 Yesterday morning we drove to Jacksonville to a bouncy house place so the kids could expend some energy while it rained. When we left around lunchtime, it was sunny! So the rain hasn't been too much at all. 

We girls found a place to get a pedicure while they played with the Daddies at the jump place. And then last night Aaron, Hank, and I went to Beaufort on a nice dinner date. Great, great week so far!

Unfortunately, after these cute pictures were taken, Kate fell on the driveway and scraped up her knees, which warranted a meltdown and lost time (we would have been on time, I think :)). 

When we got there, she went happily into her class, until she remembered her hurt knees, in which case I had to leave her crying. But I called a little later and they said she calmed down quickly after I left. 

We enjoyed sharing the details of their new preschool over a PB&J lunch. 

I think they're going to make great friends and have a fun year!

A few weeks ago the kids had a camping night at church. They all wore their pajamas and brought pillows for the tent. It was so exciting for our two little ones! They thought it was hilarious that they were wearing pajamas to church. I left my camera so that some pictures could be taken. There are a lot, so I added them to a picasa album for you to view them as a slideshow. There are many pictures of all of their friends. It looks like they played hot potato around the campfire, and spent some time playing with toys and hanging out in the tent. I think the Wednesday night curriculum was finishing up, so our children's director planned a few of these fun nights for the end of summer. Last week they did a teddy bear picnic. We love our children's ministry!
